A welcome of grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ; the committed leadership and staff of Worthy’s Christian Academy.

For twenty seven years it has been our blessings to effectively transform the lives of thousands of children with the guidance, strength and power of the Lord.

Our parents have consistently partnered with the staff and me as we diligently strive for excellence during our children’s most formative and crucial years of development.

Our graduates are accepted to schools all over the United States, such as Emory University, Morehouse College, Howard University, Clark Atlanta University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Savannah State University, University of North Carolina at Chappell Hill, University of California, and the University of Georgia.  These are just a few of the colleges that many of Worthy’s students have graduated from and now are creating and sharing their skills with others!

We humbly thank God for every precious parent and child that has faithfully shared the dream with Worthy’s , “To train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

OUR HISTORY

Worthy's Christian Academy, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Mrs. Earnestine Worthy, and husband Clarence with the goal of providing each child with a solid foundation of Christian love and academic excellence. Our mission at “Worthy’s Christian Academy, Inc., is to work together with the family, community, church, administrator, staff, and children, to provide a Christ-centered spiritual, academic and physical foundation in loving, nurturing environment, producing citizens who will be a transforming influence in their world.” Today, serving over 100 families each year, we believe that all children are created by God to excel and can radiate the profound goodness of security and self-worth.

Mrs. Earnestine Worthy has always had a special love for children. Coupled with her gifts, patience and love for Christ, she has created an atmosphere of love and instilled a love for learning in Atlanta's children for over twenty years.

In conjunction with husband Clarence Worthy and daughter Tammy Worthy-Powell, the Worthy family has successfully grown into one of Atlanta's premiere college preparatory academies. Our Motto "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
